Tomb Raider Mobile in full 3D

Eidos Mobile announced it will release Lara Croft in “Tomb Raider: Legend” on mobile phones this December. The game will be close to a full port of the 2006 console version, meaning a lot of attention for cut-scenes and movement. For UK gamers, the game will only be available on Orange, but the rest of the world shouldn’t face any embargo’s on the game. Please read the full press release below.

Vodafone into ad-subsidized gaming?

According to The Wallstreet Journal, Vodafone will use mobile content discounts in order to stream ads to mobile consumers. This follows on the deal where Vodafone and Yahoo committed themselves to distribute ad’s from the Yahoo network toward Vodafone consumers. By providing discounts on mobile content, users need to agree on the ad service.

OrangePixel dominates GameJump top 10

OrangePixel has generated enourmous successes at Gamejump where they now dominate the most played top 10. OrangePixel has managed to have 5 most played games in there. The original press release is pasted below.

Lunagames launches the SuperQ service

Disney turns to casual

If there is one company that is expected to be very aware of it’s consumers, it’s probably Disney. Today they have released their 3-in-1 puzzle pack. The pack contains three of the most common mobile games we have seen pass by the last few years; Solitaire, Sudoku and Mahjongg.  With this title, Disney offers a high value puzzle game as most of these games are normally sold separately.

From Mobile to PC, Cheeky does it

We have reported before about Cheeky‘s exploration of Microsoft’s XNA platform. Finally, Mark had the time to roll out a full commercial service with it. Cheeky now offers rapid porting of any J2me game to C# for use on Windows and X-Box Live Arcade.
