EMI has announced that Kylie Minogue, Lily Allen, Professor Green and Eliza Doolittle are all getting freely downloadable applications on Nokia’s Ovi Store.
It is the first time (as far as we could tell) that a record label is looking past the Apple App Store to promote these artists. In fact, they don’t even have an iPhone app at all. The free Ovi apps will include photo’s, tour info, news and music of course.
