Another 2.000 Jobs Cut at RIM

May 28th, 2012 by Arjan Olsder Posted in People | No Comments »

According to rumours, Research in Motion is about to cut another 2.000 jobs off its payroll. The news follows 2.000 jobs that have been cut last year as RIM was suffering from a steep decline in Blackberry sales.

After the jobcuts, only 14.500 employees will be left at RIM, if the company isn’t cutting even more jobs as some sources suggest. The reorganisation should take place from the first of June, a day before RIM is to present its annual numbers.
