Artificial Life has announced a licensing deal with German soccer club VfB Stuttgart. The club will collaborate with Artificial Life to produce a mobile soccer game called “VfB – The Official Mobile Game”.

The game is tentatively scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2009, around the start of the new 09/10 soccer season, pending approval.

"With this mobile game we further enlarge our product portfolio with a unique innovation," said Jurgen Zahn, Head of Merchandising, VfB Stuttgart.

"VfB Stuttgart is a very prominent sport club in Germany. We are excited about working with VfB to create an official soccer game on mobile for celebrating the start of the new soccer season," said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, Inc.

    2. I love soccer and I am desperately waiting for the mobile game.

Doesnt look like a large market and the games for Artificial Life lack in Quality.

i agree with Guy in both his points, also if signing a deal with 1 out of the countless german clubs (and not even a successful one) means someone at Ai failed to understand on how the market works.
This has to be a failure.
