Cellufun seems to have struck a golden distribution deal as internet giant AOL is using the company’s games to power their new free mobile games wap portal.
The new wap portal is not based on downloadable mobile games, but purely browser-based ones. This allows AOL acquired advertiser Third Screen Media to insert adds into the games at any point.
"We’re thrilled to offer Cellufun’s catalog of popular games to our mobile users," said Steve Murphy, Senior Vice President, AOL. "Games are a great complement to the robust entertainment offerings available through the AOL mobile portal."
"We are very excited to announce our partnership with AOL," said Arthur Goikhman, CEO, Cellufun. "This alliance will allow the already strong Cellufun community to grow even stronger, and offer more exposure to the Cellufun name."
The wap portal is located at http://wap.aol.com/games.
