NTT DoCoMo has lost another European deal as KPN daughter E-Plus is stopping to support the once popular mobile internet service.
In the past, KPN itself had already closed the i-mode service in their home market, the Netherlands. With this announcement, the days of i-mode seem numbered as the bigger EU markets no longer support it. This also means that developers of DoJa mobile games will have to start looking at other opportunities as the global end of i-mode is clearly nearing.
