G.I. Joe, one of the cool cartoons we watched in our childhood is returning to the big white screen, and the small mobile one as rumours say EA licensed he G.I. Joe brand.
The G.I. Joe license is coming from giant Hasbro which is owner of the IP. EA (Mobile) recently sent out a press release announcing several new Hasbro licensed games for mobile, but didn’t mention this one.
It was the Variety.com website that found out about the licensing deal. Numberous sources told the website that EA is preparing a G.I. Joe game, and so a mobile version can only be expected. EA still has plenty of time left to prepare the games though as Paramount scheduled the movie for release along the summer of 2009.
