Yesterday I got a call from Kiloo, stating they are about to release their biggest game to date called Lego Bionicle Arena. As I am still a pretty big fan of these little bricks, I asked them to send me a version right away.
What really got my attention was the menu. It features great sounds and animations. It really set the mood for the game. The quick start did exactly what it should do. Select the skill level, the Bionicle I wanted to play with and go. The game is much like a 2D Wipeout game with additional gameplay elements. It is really easy to control, but after entering Grand Prix mode it also shows the challenge to win. The game has me hooked for 24 hours now which is good for a beta version. Even though there are a few things that Kiloo still needs to implement, I personally think this is a must have for anyone that can’t leave the bricks alone.
