Larry Page to Replace Google CEO Eric Schmidt

Eric Schmidt has announced to step back at Google. Co-founder Larry Page will become the new CEO of the search and mobile giant. Schmidt made the announcement on the Google blog.

Schmidt will continue to serve the company he co-founded as executive chairman and will put his focus on external deals. Schmidt and Page will change seats in April.
