Zeebo It was to be expected as Mike Yuen had been involved in the startup of console maker Zeebo last year, but now Mike Yuen, probably the face of Qualcomm for mobile gaming, is leaving the company.

He will be joining Zeebo as of August 17th as SVP worldwide content and services (which sounds like a fun job to do). The device was successfully launched in Rio de Janeiro this summer and will expanded all over Brazil and other countries this fall.

“I feel quite lucky and honored to have been part of the incredible Qualcomm experience and I thank you for your support of the company over the years on the various initiatives and projects that we may have worked on together. And if the situation presents itself, I certainly look forward to working together again when I begin my new role with Zeebo.” writes Mike Yuen in a goodbye e-mail.

Today is his last day at Qualcomm. We wish Mike the best of luck in his new career.
