Mobile Entertainment Magazine’s Print Edition Stops

October 25th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Analysis & Editorial | No Comments »

Personally, I remember the first Mobile Entertainment Magazine dropping in my mailbox a few months after the last 3GSM event in Cannes. At that time, the magazine was a great addition for the regular Informa publication we used to receive.

ME was all about fun and entertainment in an industry that was growing rapidly. The last years, I haven’t seen a single copy and even though they could be downloaded, all news comes in via the Internet and is published via the internet, rendering paper useless. The guys over at Intent Media noticed the same and decided to start saving the innocent lives of many trees by ending their paper editions.

The October issue is the last one. The team will soon release a new website that should offer a lot more content services. We’re looking forward to it (the new site that is).
