More on David Gosen and I-Play (Oberon Media)

Today we spoke with Anna Brog from Oberon Media about the news that
David Gosen leaves their I-Play unit immediately. This is the latest
news;

David Gosen will be replaced with Don Ryan (SVP of Publishing) due to further integration of I-Play into Oberon Media. Ryan served previously as General Manager for Microsoft Game Studios as well as a possition as Director of the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.

Oberon Media will keep progressing in the field of mobile games and sees itself in a leadership position it wishes to retain. We asked Oberon Media if David Gosen took the step to leave the company, or if Oberon Media asked him to leave. Oberon Media doesn’t want to comment on that.

We reported earlier about Oberon Media laying off some staff along October of 2007. There is no news yet on what David Gosen will do next, but it is expected to be some big gaming thing.
