Square Enix licensed Destiny’s Child from Sony BMG. They are expected to release a dancing game on the freshly signed license.

We have reported before about Cheeky‘s exploration of Microsoft’s XNA platform. Finally, Mark had the time to roll out a full commercial service with it. Cheeky now offers rapid porting of any J2me game to C# for use on Windows and X-Box Live Arcade.

Twistbox signs up new board members

Twistbox, the mobile games and content firm has installed new board members. It opened up a new office in London in which ex-Warner Bros Justin Richardson will head up EU sales and marketing. Also, Twistbox hired ex-GM Entertainment Henrik Salzman to handle Scandinavia from the Stockholm office.

Glu signed Project Gotham Racing (PGR)

It seems Microsoft made a small switch as it’s latest franchise, Project Gotham Racing (PGR) is not handled by In-Fusio like many other Microsoft licenses, but by Glu. The mobile game will feature 9 real life models with the same characteristics as in the X-Box game.

Juniper announced sales of mobile adult services, under which games, will be worth $ 3.3 billion by 2011. This year, the market was valued at $ 1.4 billion. The primary market will the EU, closely followed by the Asian-Pacific.
