Telefonica to Upgrade Litmus

January 15th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Distribution | 2 Comments »

Telefonica Litmus has been far from successful since the App Store launched on the O2 UK network in 2008. Still Telefonica seems to believe in the platform and so it will be upgraded to fit the rest of the Telefonica network.

The new Litmus will get a new name and the business model will change when they announce it on MWC next month. The API’s that now only feature functionality for O2 UK will also be expanded to support other Telefonica operators. Currently, 663 apps make use of these API’s.

Litmus is bullshit. Ever tried it? If they role it out its a sign of weakness for telefonica!

I’m writing about the Litmus game “A Christmas Carol”. I have ask for support from Litmus three times and never heard from them. Perhaps you will contact me and provide help. Thanks, Karen C
