GreyStripe inked distribution deal with BuzzCity

Following an earlier deal with HandyGames, Greystripe now inked a deal with BuzzCity to bring adwrapped games to consumers. BuzzCity will market the games trough their wireless community service called myGamma which is a community portal for young adults with a global reach.

Admoda inked Gameloft for wap advertising

Gameloft keeps reaching further to get control over their consumers. Today, Admoda announced they have inked down a deal with Gameloft to advertise Gameloft’s games along the network of wap sites which are being hosted by Admoda. Admoda’s technology is similar to that of Mads.com and allows specific demographic and device targeting, meaning Gameloft only advertises to the consumers they really want to have. Currently Admoda serves 400 million wap banner impressions a month.

Will Commodore Gaming see the light?

It’s been a while since we handled some news about Commodore Gaming‘s plans to go into mobile game development. More or less, we didn’t see anything since they opened up their portal at commodoregaming.com. Today however, new rumors came in about a deal made for mobile game development. Kiloo seems to be the development studio chosen by Commodore. We will soon come back with the details.

I-Play and MEF team up to party at 3GSM

I-Play just announced it will be co-hosting the MEF party which is announced as the hottest of the week. The party will be held on Monday the 12th. At the same time, I-Play announced their CEO David Gosen will be speaking “Mobile Games

The Mobile Games Blog and 3GSM

3GSM is coming. A traditional moment in the year where we all meet up, do business and somewhere in between get drunk. Overloaded and MoConDi will make sure the mobile games blog has a place to stay there and Gameloft was kind enough to provide tickets. Prior to the event, more announcements will follow.

Zune into the game

Microsoft announced it will follow in Apple’s footsteps and transform the Zune to also support gaming. We don’t have any details yet on the technology, but it wouldn’t surprise me if MS will choose for C# instead of J2me to save on licensing costs. Microsoft remained unclear about any plans to also come with a phone.
