Disney Mobile Releases Turok

February 6th, 2008 by Arjan Olsder Posted in New Releases | 1 Comment »

Living Mobile and Disney Interactive Studios announce the release of
Turok Mobile. It’s time for dinosaurs to die out on mobile as well now.

The release is just in time for Turok’s big revival as Disney Mobile is releasing the mobile game at the same time it will be released on consoles and PC systems.

Though the game only features 10 levels, the levels have different routes to take and contain hidden areas, increasing the replay value of the title. Also, the mobile game is stuffed with dinosaurs like the famous T-Rex.

Turok is an epic, story-driven platform game set on a dark, mysterious planet in the future.  The player will take on the role of Joseph Turok, a former black ops commando, now part of an elite special forces squad, known as Whiskey Company, which is on a mission to take down Roland Kane and his army, the Mendel-Gruman Corporation.  As Whiskey Company’s ship approaches the planet inhabited by Mendel-Gruman, the ship is shot down.  Turok is stranded on the planet and must locate other crash survivors while confronting Mendel-Gruman soldiers and a variety of dinosaurs and other ravenous creatures.

In Turok, you can use the gameplay style of their choice. By careful selection of weapons, or using stealth rather than a more belligerent approach, you can vary your tactics to complete each level.

As you can expect from all recent Living Mobile titles, the game will have a full set of connected features including a full community portal.
