Elite Systems & Midway Extend Paperboy License

EliteSince the start, Elite Systems made a killer deal by licensing the arcade classic Paperboy from Midway. Now, the license has been extended to 2010 and Elite Systems is preparing for Paperboy’s 25th anniversary.

The celebrations will be led by he release of a brand new Paperboy mobile game. The new version has been updated to current quality demands, but remains true to the original game. The new Paperboy game will be released around Spring according to Elite’s founder Steve Wilcox. Elite Systems is also looking around for creative developers to create other mobile products for the celebration.

Elite founder Steve Wilcox said "Classic versions of the Midway arcade title Paperboy have been enjoyed by millions of players in the arcades, on consoles and PCs and most recently, courtesy of Elite, mobile phones." He continued, "We genuinely hope and believe that the new Paperboy mobile products will be enjoyed by millions more."
