August 4th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Companies & M&A | No Comments »

Gameloft has also reported their second quarter financials. The company shows solid growth on the iOS platforms and reaffirms that mobile remains core business for the downloadable games publisher.

During Q2, the company turned over €33.6 million which is an increase of 15% year-on-year. Over the first half of 2010, revenues grew to €66.6 million. That is up 11%. For the first time, the EU and US have been equal in revenues, at 34%.

The growth in 2010 was mainly driven by an increased market share in traditional J2me and Brew markets as well as several smartphone markets.
