Volkswagen is well known for releasing free mobile racing games on the iPhone. To date, the company worked extensively with Fishlabs, but the latest title comes from Firemint.
The game is called Real Racing GTi. Real Racing has been one of the top iPhone racing games available and that might have been reason enough for Volkswagen to talk with the company. The result of the cooperation is Real Racing GTi. The game is similar to the original, but the player can only race in the Golf GTi (2 editions, 3 colors each). Firemint does however include an option to buy the full game for players that want to drive something different. This is a marketing move we haven’t seen in the Fishlabs titles.
