Gameloft has acquired the rights to Beowulf, the new movie from Paramount Pictures. Though it is not known which kind of game they will make, the tale promises a nice medieval theme.
“Beowulf is not only one of the greatest legends, but now it will be brought to the silver screen and we’re excited to work on the mobile game adaptation,” said Michel Guillemot, president, Gameloft. “This is the third project that we have undertaken with Paramount Pictures, so we’ve established a real foundation to work well together. We’re currently working on developing gameplay to capture the essence of the film and break new ground with fans and mobile gamers alike.”
