Disney has announced that former Playdom chief John Pleasants will be heading all (mobile) gaming related activities within the Disney Interactive Media Group.
John Pleasants joined Disney when his former company (Playdom) was bought by the giant (June 28th). At Playdom, John Pleasants served as the CEO and in his current role, he will continue to be in charge over Playdom, as well as any other gaming studio within the group (including Tapulous, acquired July 2nd).
