Nokia has announced the launch of the pre-release version of the new N-Gage platform for the N81 device.
The N-Gage 2.0 platform has been largely criticised as the launch was pushed back a few times and limited to one device, while many expected it to cover nearly all the N-Series devices.
The pre-release version is available only in N-Gage’s First Access Forums. It has full try & buy functionality and also allows to provide feedback about the experience to Nokia.
Reading the N-Gage blog about the launch, there is a lot of questions about supporting other N-Series devices as well as support for the E-Series. Also, there is a lot of negative criticism about the launch and the issues on the Forums. Also it seems the service is working on the N95 according to one of the commenters.
