iPhone Leading Sales in the US

In Nielsen’s latest report, the analyst shows that the iPhone is now holding 4% of the market. With this achievement, Apple has beaten the BlackBerry in one of the most important markets. BB is now second with 3.7% for the 8300 series devices.

Good news for the good old Zeemote as the device has been saved from going extinct by Aplix last week. Aplix decided to acquire the company that went into problems earlier this November.
MGF Announces Sponsors and Partners

It’s going well with the MGF event. Last week, they signed up AdMob, ARM, Scoreloop, GetJar, the EGDF, the IGDA (known from board member Tim Langdell’s who sues anybody that writes the word EDGE), IDE Agency and the Dutch Games Association as new event partners.

Good news for all you Kindle lovers out there. Months ago we tried launching on Kindle but failed because we did not have a US bank account. Today however, we discovered Amazon has launched it in the end.

Based in Vienna, Austria, Xendex is one of those old companies that has managed to stay alive during the credit crunch and years of consolidation we are now leaving behind. The company recently surprised many with a big $3.5 Million investment and seems ready for whatever 2010 will bring.
