TableStar Games Announces Swatches Beta

December 13th, 2007 by Arjan Olsder Posted in New Releases | 1 Comment »

TablestarTablestar Games has developed a new mobile game for the iPhone that is now going Beta. The game, called Swatches, will allow iPhone and iTouch owners to play together for the first time.

Swatches is a typical casual puzzle game, but has an integrated chat functio. With the chat function, players can keep in touch with eachother while playing the game. Players from the iPhone can even play together with players from the iTouch.

“There are many games currently available to download to your iPhone but most of them are just ports of existing games,” said Rob Carroll, Producer with TableStar.  “We designed Swatches especially to use the invocative touch screen on the iPhone in conjunction with the multiplayer capabilities of an online device.”

"Our real-time chat function allows friends to play and interact, and lets players meet new friends with the game lobby and chat functions,” said William Volk, CEO of MyNuMo, who performed the iPhone development of the game.

More details on the mobile game can be obtained from the Swatches website.
