The 3G iPhone and Social Mobile Gaming

PlayfishThe new iPhone has arrived in the US, and with a sales price of just $ 199,- it’s guaranteed to be yet another success for Apple, and so further increase it’s foothold in the mobile games market.

It’s no surprise that a device like the iPhone 3G, with it’s slick interface, fast connections and huge touch screen is an ideal platform for developing (mainly casual) mobile game experiences.

At the Playfish Blog, Kristian Segerstrale evaluates the possibilities of bringing social gaming to Apple’s iPhone platform.
