Being the biggest operator in the US clearly has it's advantages. Since Verizon announced that the company wanted to do an App Store, 1.000 developers and publishers have signed up for it.
To assist the developers in developing games and applications for their App Store, Verizon will be organizing a special congress and open up a developer website. Both will not only aim at the development side of things, but also on marketing.
