October 29th, 2007 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Distribution | No Comments »

VindigoVindigo, the company formally known as Zingy, has struck a deal in order to distribute a selection of mobile games from Real Networks to operators in North and South America.

Through this distribution deal, Real’s mobile games portfolio expands it’s reach into America. Amongst the catalogue of mobile games to be distributed are Cake Mania, Luxor and Extreme Running.

"Vindigo has deep relationships with virtually all the US mobile operators," said Matt Turetzky, vice president for non-PC platforms in the Games Division at Real. "Specifically Vindigo’s expertise with the regional and niche wireless carriers will help us extend our reach to millions more mobile consumers."

"Real’s casual PC games continue to grow in popularity and Real has successfully adapted many of these top sellers for mobile phones," said Scott Jensen, Vindigo CEO. "Selling and merchandising entertainment products cross-platform is a strategy we share with Real and it is one that’s proven beneficial to carriers across the board."
