Connect2media
Connect2Media has licensed (what's according to them) the biggest word game television show. The company will turn Two Way Media's String 'em In into a mobile game.

String ’em In is apparently the most played interactive TV game on Virgin Media; it is also available to Sky TV subscribers, making it available in more than 11 million homes. String ’em In is set for a huge boost in awareness in 2009 when it launches as a Facebook application for the more than 120 million members of the social network.

James Turner, the sales director at Two Way Media, comments: “We are very excited about the many different opportunities for bringing our most popular game to an even wider audience. String ’em In is a compelling, clever, fun game which can be played anywhere, anytime so it makes absolute sense for us to take it on to many different platforms.”

String Em In’s global TV presence includes Australia and New Zealand where it has been broadcast for five years. There are also plans to launch String ’em In in South Africa, Canada and across Europe

Eric Hobson, CEO of Connect2Media said: “String ’em In is a huge game that fits perfectly with our strategic goal of being a multi-platform entertainment company. String ’em In is fiendishly addictive and it ‘translates’ very well to global markets so we anticipate it being hugely popular throughout our extensive international distribution footprint.”
