No acquisition this time, but DeNa has announced an investment in Astro Ape, a US mobile games developer. Astro Ape is well known for its Office Heroes game on the iPhone.
As part of the investment, Astro Ape (founded in March 2009) will start the development of various titles for DeNa’s social gaming platform. The investment is part of what is expected to be a race between DeNa and Zynga.
