Eidos, one of the bigger names in the industry, is no more. Their new owner Square Enix has announced that publisher Eidos transforms into developer Square Enix Europe.
This change means that all publishing deals held by Eidos will be transferred to Square Enix. The studios owned by Eidos will remain doing their work under their own names but with the publishing business gone, jobs will be lost in both EU and US territories.
Square Enix Europe will be led by Phil Rogers, who was responsible for Eidos. With this news, the
