Ngmoco Raised $25m, Acquires Freeverse

Shortly after raising $25 Million in funding, Ngmoco announced the acquisition of mobile game developer Freeverse. Freeverse celebrated it’s 5th million App Store download yesterday.

The latest developer to leave the J2me market is LemonQuest. The developer is now trying to sell off its portfolio. The company will continue with a multi-platform MMORPG aimed at PC and Smartphones.

Last Friday we wrote about Wobble/iBoobs being removed from the App Store as Apple tightened the rules about adult/erotic apps. According to a call the developer had with Apple, 5.000 apps are banned.
