Samsung’s Galaxy S has proven to be one of the more popular Android devices from the Korean vendor. The Galaxy S has sold well over 5 million units to date.
Samsung also announced it will start selling the Galaxy S in Japan later this month, which could further boost the sales of the device. Samsung will also upgrade the Galaxy S to Android 2.2 along next week.
