For the first time since Gameloft and Ubisoft split on a business level, Ubisoft has made an announcement to go into mobile games. The company will only target the iPhone though.
The announcement from Ubisoft shows it’s commitment to become an official developer for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch platforms. Gameloft has always been the dedicated mobile gaming sister company of Ubisoft, but has also started developing games for the Nintnedo DS, WiiWare and XBLA.
