ZodTTD Shows iJoyPad

August 3rd, 2009 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Gaming Gear, Platforms: iOS | No Comments »

Blank We have been tracking the iControlPad and other mobile gaming peripherals for a long time already, but the iJoyPad is new to us. In a video we found, the developer demo's the hardware.

The video (which is on MGBTV right now), shows the iJoyPad in action on a iPhone 3GS PSX emulator. The developer is playing both Wipeout and RidgeRacer on it and it seems to redpond well.

With the arrival of iPhone OS 3.0, bleutooth and wired hardware support is added to the API's. The problem however is that game developers have to include support in their titles. On other platforms like Symbian, installing a 'driver' is enough to support most software.
