Over the years, mobile games have proven that the Tamagotchi genre still isn’t dead. With the whole iPhone buzz at the moment, Cellufun gives the genre a new push with the release of their MobilePet MyPhone.
In the game, you will not adopt a pet of some weird thing from space, but Apple’s newest marketing wonder, the iPhone (or myPhone as it is called inside the mobile game). Unlike pets, the iPhone has a bigger hunger for getting the latest music and video’s and it will die and go to mobile heaven if you forget that! Also, the iPhone can get crippled by viruses which means you have to take it to the nearest computer store for repairs.
The game also allows messages to be send out to friends directly. Players earn additional points when friends take the time to look at the myPhone. Top players can even win their very own iPhone.
