Connect2Media Acquires Sennari

March 23rd, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Companies & M&A | No Comments »

Connect2media Connect2Media (formerly known as MForma) has acquired US publisher Sennari. With the acquisition, the company is setting some big steps to increase their position on the US market.

As a result of the acquisition, Sennari will become the base of US operations for the publisher and Sennari founder Mike Cartabiano will be leading the US business. Connect2Media will also become a competitor of Hands-On who used to own M-Forma but sold it off to focus at the US market.

Sennari is also the owner of a play-for-prizes platform. In the US, the platform is in use on the Verizon network. Connect2Media plans to include Play for Prizes technology in their upcoming product launches. This strategy is also in-line with Apple’s recent announcement that play-for-prizes titles will be allowed on the app store.
