HP’s Android Tablet Comes (Surprise!) with a Printer

While we are still waiting for more information on HP’s WebOS tablet plans, their first Android tablet is landing in the shops as we speak as part of their new Photosmart eStation printer.

The 7” tablet runs a custom version of the Android OS and comes with a number of apps like Facebook and an eReader from Barnes & Noble. If and how other apps can be installed remains unknown for this time, but we hope to find out soon.

Meanwhile, rumors say HP is still working on a more serious Android based Pad called the HP Zeen. If that is true remains to be seen as we would expect HP to use WebOS as much as possible.
