Last night, Samsung and Handmark announced the games that will receive funding for their presence on Samsung’s Baba fund. The biggest winner was Astraware, a studio that split from Handmark only recently.

O’Reilly has compiled a few lists that identify the most effective developers on the App Store. The company shrunk it’s selection to only those who had 10 or more releases in the past 12 months.

Good news for the iPhone development community. Apple has decided to let iPod Touch owners freely upgrade their devices to firmware 3.0. With this move, the company hopes to improve app availability.
MWC: 300.000 360 Devices in the Market

Vodafone has been pushing their 360 devices for only a few months and already the operator has sold over 300.000 handsets. Vodafone has 7.000 apps and games for those devices.
