Last week, we reported that Square Enix is interested in acquiring SCI/Eidos. Today, we can inform you that one of Eidos' biggest shareholders, Time Warner, has given Square Enix the green light for the acquisition.

Yet another “big one” over at the Mobile World Congress announced it's plans to release an “App Store”. This time it's Microsoft who will have it's Windows Marketplace ready when it will launch Windows Mobile 6.5.

MWC: O2 Rewards Litmus Testers

O2's Litmus is probably one of the App Store concepts that we covered the most while it's not even on the market. Since a few weeks, Litmus has been open for Beta testing, and now O2 has teamed up with Mob4Hire to increase the testing quality.
MWC: Nokia and Adobe Launch $10 Million Fund

Nokia and Adobe announced the creation of the $10 million Open Screen Project fund, which is designed to help developers create applications and services for mobile, desktop, and consumer electronics devices using the Adobe Flash platform.
