38K Apps Available on the Android Market

According to Google, the Android Market is currently offering 38.000 apps to consumers. At the same time, vendors are selling 66.000 Android phones a day.

This latest announcement tells us that Android Market increased with 8.000 apps since the March announcement from Google. Google also announced 34 different devices are now supporting the Android platform. This is up 70% from the last quarter. All these models are made by 12 registered vendors.
