Facebook Looking to Develop their own Smartphone (again)

Facebook Acquires Snaptu

Facebook has acquired Snaptu, a developer of mobile apps that focuses on the J2me market for feature phones. The two companies were already working on a mobile Facebook client for J2me devices. Facebook paid $70 million for the J2me developer.

Angry Birds to hit Facebook

While Angry Birds just passed 30 million downloads on Android, Rovio has announced the game will make it’s way onto Facebook. This will be the first real ‘social’ move for the franchise.

DeNA to Invest $27,5 Million in Social (Mobile) Gaming

DeNA has announced a new fund called Incubate Fund No. 1 which is investing in social game developers on all platforms. DeNA has a 83.3% stake in the fund but partners are yet to be revealed.

F8: Facebook to Introduce Own Virtual Currency
