Digital Chocolate's CEO Trip Hawkins has unveiled their new virtual goods platform called NanoVerse. On it, they sell what they call NanoStars. Indeed, this is something new that they even patented.

Palm's long awaited Pre is set to be introduced in Europe. Both in the UK (16-10) as well as in Germany (13-10), the device will be sold by operator O2, but it will be available in more countries.

Dutch developer ChainFire has released version 1.2 of it's GfxBoost tool for HTC smartphones. Though the app does cash in on CPU resources, it manages to boost the quality of 2D graphics.

Ovi Testing Re-Download Service

The guys at AllAboutSymbian have uncovered that Nokia is field testing a re-download service for Nokia's Ovi store. This means apps and games will be tied to a person and not a set device.
