Following several delays, we can finally enjoy paid apps in The Netherlands. T-Mobile deployed the G1 several months ago and did good sales according to several shop owners we spoke.

Chillingo was one of the first companies we noticed that started to distribute mobile games to the App Store. While the App Store is available directly to all operators, it seems to be a very interesting business model as Warner Bros is jumping into that market as well with Cobra Mobile.

The Slovakian developer InLogic has signed an important deal with Total Sports Asia (TSA) to distribute ringtones, wallpapers and mobile games across TSA’s mobile client network.

Strategy Analytics reported that they expect Android shipments to be increased by a massive 900% over the year. Not that hard since the OS is only available at a handful of handsets at the moment.

The Dutch company BoosterMedia has launched a new flash portal called GamesPlaza.mobi. Through the portal, developers can make available their free Flash Lite based mobile games.
