The Hong Kong based mobile games developer Artificial Life announced
their first financial results over 2006. 2006 has been a good year for
the company as they saw their revenues grow from $ 266,757 at the end
of 2005 to $ 856,334 at the end of 2006.
Hands-On Releases Guitar Hero

Hands-On has entered in yet another licensing deal with Activision.
This time, they picked out Guitar Hero for adoption to the mobile
gaming world. With the game being highly successful on the consoles it
is guaranteed to sell, but with the hardware involved in the console
games it will be a tough job to entertain the console public.
Vivendi Releases MACH

The guys over at Vivendi must have had a real bright moment when they
thought about combining two great categories in mobile gaming; Racing
and Areal Combat. Those elements form the foundation of their newest
mobile game called MACH.

called Triad. As with their last Commodore title, Kiloo did what it

Capcom‘s acquisition of Cosmic Infinity pays off even more then many
expected as they signed a deal with Virgin Mobile U.S. as sole
aggregator of Wap based mobile games. This gives Capcom the space to
deliver titles like "Who Wants To be A Millionaire" to all Virgin Mobile
U.S. subscribers.
Glu Shares Going South

It has been some time since Glu (GLUU) went on Nasdaq and surprised us with the money they collected. The first trading day, the value of the shares increased even more. Today however, we noticed a steady decrease in share value for Glu.
Bandai and Playphone Launch Tamaphone in the US

Bandai and Playphone announced to Mobile Entertainment Magazine about
the launch of their Tamagotchi styled mobile phone and content portal.
The phone is a re-skinned Motorola V190 and is offered as a Cingular
pre-paid package.
