Mondia Ltd Acquires Arvato Mobile

As of January first, Arvato Mobile has been acquired by Mondia Ltd.(housed in Dubbai). As Arvato Mobile will be split off from the rest of Arvato (part of the Bertelsmann group) we guess the company will be renamed at sometime.

Yesterday, we reported about the bold move from Fishlabs to ditch the traditional market channels and start selling mobile games directly. In a clear statement sent in by HandyGames, Markus Kassulke advises mobile game developers and publishers to experiment, but not let go of any moneymakers.

Player X Secures Spot in Red Herring 100 Global Awards

Nielsen has released their top 10 mobile games for the U.S. operator market in 2008. Not surprisingly, Tetris is still leading the charts with an overall revenue of 7.0%.
