Playstation Suite SDK Enters Beta

Following a closed beta late last year, Sony has made available the Playstation Suite SDK to the global audience. The suite allows developers to build apps for Playstation Suite certified devices like Playstation Vita, Xperia smartphones and tablets.

Playstation Suite SDK in Open Beta Next Month

Next month, developers can start making use of the open beta SDK for the Playstation Suite service. Sony has performing closed beta testing before, but stuck to mostly Japanese, US and UK developers.

MWC: Tizen Beta launched

The Linux-driven project Tizen has just launched the first Beta version of the new open source operating system for smartphones. With the release of the beta, the team also made available the first SDK for developers.

Palm Launches WebOS 2.0 SDK

PalmPalm has announced the availability of the WebOS 2.0 SDK. WebOS 2.0 is expected to ship later this year and the release of the Beta SDK is a signal that the company is in final stages of development.

F8: Facebook to Introduce Own Virtual Currency

At the F8 conference, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced that the company is nearly ready with their Facebook Credits system. The system enables developers to use an uniform currency in their facebook connected games.

Flash 10.1 Does Arrive in H1, Just not the Phones

Adobe has send out a statement to explain that their Flash Player 10.1 for mobile phones is being released in the first half of 2010, as announced earlier. It is just the phones they install it on which will be late.

Burstly Burstly has announced support for the iPad. With Burstly, developers can sell their ad inventory on an open marketplace where advertisers can purchase it. Burstly takes 10% in exchange.

Apple Released iPhone SDK 3.2 B4

Apple Today, Apple has released iPhone SDK Beta 4 (two weeks after the last one). Though iPhone developers can download the SDK, it will be focused mainly at iPad development.
