A few months ago, we announced that the Odroid (Android based handheld console) was only available in it's home market; Korea. Starting this week, developers all over the world can order an Odroid Devkit.

IDC: 300K iPhone Apps vs. 75K Android Apps in 2010

According to the latest IDC report, the analysts expect that the App Store will grow to 300.000 mobile apps and games by the end of 2010 and competitor Android will grow to 75.000.
Apple Slashes 1K Apps for Fake Reviews

Apple has taken down all one thousand apps from a developer called MoLinker. The reason for taking them down is a huge amount of fake reviews to propel it’s title upward in the charts.

With the release of Bada, Samsung also exposed the results of some consumer research they did. Samsung’s survey was held under feature phone owners in France, the UK and Italy.

At the Bada presentation, Samung also announced the Bada category for the Samsung Developer Challenge. The company set up a price pot worth $ 2.7 Million in total.

Today, Samsung showed the first version of the Basa OS to the public. With the Bada platform, Samsung hopes to build a smartphone platform that will address the needs of many different consumer types.
